A complete 30-book first-reader library designed to help children move from shared reading to reading independently with confidence. My Early Reader Library brings together short, engaging illustrated stories by well-known children’s authors including Margaret Mahy, Liz Kessler, Vivian French, Phil Earle, Francesca Simon, Linda Chapman, Steven Butler, Kaye Umansky and Lauren St John.
Best suited to emerging independent readers around ages 5–7, the books use manageable story lengths, accessible vocabulary, supportive illustrations and short chapters. They are especially useful for children who can already read simple sentences and are ready to build fluency, stamina, comprehension and confidence before moving into longer chapter books.
